Just wanted to thank Mike and Jerry McLennan for putting on a great event!  Even with the mud, rain, and floods, it was fun and well organized.  Mike was everywhere with his tractor planting the trailers in the mud, gatoring for Reggie, hosting and then un-planting the trailers on Sunday.  He was everywhere!  Kind a reminded me of Keith Yutzy!!! 

The whole course got flipped upside down and re-measured, remarked and the two back-to-back events were saved. Thanks to Tom Knicker, our TD and our Dressage Judge, Karen Garrett!  Karen didn't miss a single thing {drat}.

It amazed me that we had volunteers, but we did with some folks volunteering both days. Thanks to Sandy and Lew Smith {with Lew 2-3 days post stent placement}, Tracie, David, Bill Gorham, John Milligan, Tammy Rose, Ashley and Joe, Chyrl, Pat Garrett, and even Roxann Langseth’s sister, Sharon, who was out there in the middle of things too {said she's only attended one other driving event, and I hope she comes back}. There were many, many others.  I am so sorry that I didn't write down your names. But thanks to you all !!!

Thanks to Walter Fuermann for literally jumping on the back of my carriage as I was taking off for the marathon on Sunday.  Brave man!  Such a great group of folks and always willing to help each other. 

And if you weren't there, you missed seeing Reggie expertly drive a pair of Mike's horses {Tina and Reddy) all weekend.  He harnessed, drove, un-harnessed, everything! 

These are just my personal observations and we welcome yours!

PS: It sounds like Mike and Jerry are open to having more of these events! Hope so.
